The Georgian / Victorian Hall is a wonderful building with a huge variety of potential uses. The Hall can sleep groups of up to 46 with 5 leaders. Accommodation is in the form of dormitory style bunk beds with 2 rooms of 12, two rooms of 8 and 1 room that sleeps 6. There are one single and two twin rooms for leaders. Members of the Centre staff live on the estate and can be easily contacted at all times. The Hall has a dining room and kitchen, sitting room, study room and a large games / conference room. Depending on the needs of the individual group this last room can have table tennis and snooker tables or seating / large table.

There are a number of package options for groups using the Hall:

Rooms Only
If you only need the use of one or two of the large rooms within the Hall, please get in touch to discuss your requirements.

Self-Catering
This gives a group exclusive use of the whole Hall and front lawn for the duration of their hire period. This period could be a day, a weekend or a full week stay. This type of package is ideal for events where no catering is required i.e. training days or groups that can provide their own catering team. (Any person catering for a group must possess a current food hygiene certificate.)

Full Package
The full package is for residential groups of over 20 children/adults. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and supper is included and all catered for by qualified Centre staff. This package allows groups to make the most of their time at Whitwell, without the hassle of catering for a large group of hungry people!
